Our volunteers are the backbone of this annual must not miss event, ensuring everything runs smoothly and everyone feels welcome. Without our dedicated volunteers, the magic of the festival simply wouldn't be possible. Your contribution is invaluable, and we deeply appreciate your willingness to support us.

Am I Eligible to be an Ignite Volunteer?

To be an Ignite Volunteer, you must have some Ignite experience as a volunteer or participant and or experience with space holding and facilitation.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities

As a volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Here are the key responsibilities you'll be taking on:

• Welcoming Participants: Be available for the welcome portion of the festival on day one.

• Clear Communication: Provide clear and helpful information to festival-goers.

• Team Collaboration: Work well with others to ensure the festival's success.

• Welcoming Atmosphere: Help attendees feel welcome and safe throughout the festival.

• Connection Facilitator: Connect attendees with the right people and resources, knowing who is who and who to go to for different needs or requests..

• Assist Facilitators in Sessions: Support facilitators in two sessions per day.

• Material Coordination: Help with the coordination of materials, acting as the go-to person when facilitators need help with supply coordination.

• Smooth Festival Operation: Work closely with the Volunteer Lead to ensure the festival runs smoothly.

• Volunteer Meet-Up: Attend the in-person volunteer meet-up on Wednesday, July 24th, from 5:30-7:00 pm. Snacks and drinks are provided.

• Daily Check-In: Participate in daily volunteer check-ins to discuss any questions and support each other. These will happen for 15 minutes prior to the opening ceremony each day of the festival.

• Visible Support: Be a visible presence for attendees to connect with about any issues or day-to-day needs.

• Set Up and Tear Down: Be available for pre-festival setup and post-festival tear down to help prepare and close out the event.
